At first I was a little disappointed because I threw it really hard and the tip broke off in my target, but then I shot blade city an email and they sent out a new one for free.

The cool design is why I wanted this awesome Honshu star. It’s very big, it has some weight on it and it doesn’t take much to get this monster going. It sticks every time! U can’t go wrong with Honshu.

It's huge. Big slab of metal. Like the others it only has sharp pointed tips. Rest is not. It really speaks for itself. I enjoy it

Best star I've had! Well balanced, cuts through the air very well while retaining the vertical or horizontal throw. Points are well made so they stick super easy.
Ps. A lot of the negative reviews I've seen talking about chips or cuts in it are almost always people throwing for one of their first times and doing it inside on a concrete floor. This is operator error, this is not the fault of the star :)

I was skeptical about this when I bought it but when I threw it at the tree it literally sinks in about 3/4 to an inch deep in the wood. It is heavy easy to throw easy to aim and hit the target you're aiming for. This thing will do some damage

VERY large throwing Star and like most quality stars even first time throwers get them to stick.

The coating will rub off after long usage on the tips, they might chip (after long usage), and the tips might break off ( again after long usage), but they are soooooo much fun. They are just the right weight and size. As a Knife thrower, I wish I had started learning with these, they are easy to get the hang of and great for beginners. I would even trust these as self defense weapons if the time came.
