Wasn't too sure the first time I pushed the button, blade opened only about 1/4 way. Operated a few times added a couple of drops of oil, works pretty good now. Well made, solid, no wiggle to blade when locked open. When closed blade is exactly centered

I am really impressed with this knife! First, I love knives and have a good collection of both EDC’s, too big to be an EDC, and too scary to use as an EDC. This knife falls under the 3rd category because of how pointy it is. That being said, I bought it knowing that, yet still wanted it to fulfill a specific niche missing in my collection.
I expect my knives to be constructed solidly with robust rivets, no play in the blade when I give it a wiggle check, good action when opening and closing, and an overall good fit and finish where the handles and metal meet as well as a solid locking mechanism.
This knife has it all! The blade is sharp enough for what I expect this knife to do (which is really not much other than I push a button and the blade swings up solidly which it does). The mechanism is excellent and as I said above, it is solid. The fit and finish was surprisingly well done and there is no play when I wiggle the blade. I really am very happy with this knife! I will say though, for kids under 16, this is a scary knife to handle so be forewarned (and I am not a kid.)

If you expect a knife to be sharp out of the box, this is the one. The paper in the picture proves my point. Also, I was impressed by the shine of the wood handle. This black one is nice but, I really want the red wood. Maybe next time.
