7. ORDERS (AGE & LEGALITY)

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase any knife products and at least 21 years old to purchase restricted products (as labeled on the website). Some items may be illegal for individuals under 21 to possess in certain jurisdictions. You are solely responsible for verifying and complying with all applicable federal, state, and local laws regarding the purchase, ownership, use, and possession of any products.


8. AUTOMATIC & ASSISTED KNIFE LAWS

The Switchblade Act (Pub.L. 85-623, 72 Stat. 562; 15 U.S.C. § 1241–1245), as amended (the “Act”), prohibits shipment of automatic knives across state lines with limited exceptions, including shipments:

(a) to authorized Federal Government procurement officers and employees in connection with official duties;
(b) to supply or procurement officers of the National Guard, Air National Guard, or state militias for official activities;
(c) to supply or procurement officers or employees of the District of Columbia, any State or Territory, or any of their political subdivisions;
(d) to manufacturers or bona fide dealers pursuant to orders from the persons listed in (a)–(c).

Sections 1242 and 1243 of the Act do not apply to:
(e) common carriers or contract carriers handling switchblade knives in the ordinary course of business;
(f) manufacture, sale, transport, distribution, possession, or interstate introduction of switchblades pursuant to Armed Forces contracts;
(g) the Armed Forces or their members/employees acting in the performance of duty;
(h) possession and on-person transport of a switchblade with a blade of three inches or less by any individual who has only one arm;
(i) knives with a spring, detent, or other mechanism creating a bias toward closure requiring manual exertion to overcome that bias for opening assistance.
