The middle piece that is supposed to connect the two batons together is literally so small, and one of the batons literally won’t go back into its set mode no matter how hard I slam it into the ground. I have a retractable baton, that is so easy to get it back into its resting position. But I literally can’t put it back, or connect the two batons together. This was what $40? And the reason I got this was for a BO STAFF, not for two retractable batons that don’t even work. (And I already have a baton so why would I need another one, let alone three?) Blade city does usually such a good job, but with the delivery I got this time there was way to much trouble to go through, and honestly they didn’t do the greatest this time.

I bought one of these a year or so ago from blade city. Bought 2 more to give away as Christmas gifts, the quality is great and at a good price.

It's nice, But there is no way to retract it, I put a hole in my floor trying to retract it. I looked at videos on YouTube and they just pushed it into the ground/floor to retract it. They need to add instructions in the box because it is not retracting at all.

Since I is expandable I was expecting it to be flimsy and just got it cause I thought it was cool.... but I was completely wrong with my assumption it's super sturdy and heavy duty. Definitely worth the buy.

Yesterday, I took one of my batons to a rage cage to put it to work and see how it stood up. I beat the hell out of this thing and it took it all without any signs of weakening, warping, bending, or loosening. At one point the nub on the end came loose but I just screwed it back on and kept on using it. This thing obliterated snow globes, porcelain Santas and ugly clay Halloween pumpkins -- some of which were so ugly I not only smashed the pumpkin but insisted in bashing each and every chunk until they were just little orange nuggets of fake clay pumpkins. It also smashed through heavy wooden picture frames and beat the living snot out of a toaster oven that had no where to hide. As the photos show, it lost its show floor good looks but that just makes it look meaner. It still opens and closes without issue.
I would recommend buying one of these things just to take it to a rage cage. I think the two were made for each other. And definitely go for the snow globes.

Only bought because it was 10 bucks more then buying a single baton. I had no intention of using as a Bo staff. Seems solid so far.

This thing is awesome, been doing bo staff for a while now and it’s a bit heavy (given I am a child), but it is sturdy and not some plastic toy we all have trauma from breaking when we were little.

I was shocked as hell when I got this bo staff! Great quality and fast delivery. I did not expect such a nice staff! Getting used to quick deployment, but getting there!

SOLID construction, and heavy/long enough to be a nice defensive aid!
