Black OTF Pen Knife

Awesome pen knife! Love Blade city!

Bought this used it 3 times just testing the spring and lock. I wasn’t even rough with it I cut paper and just used the opening and shutting under its own weight and the spring popped. In other words the the locking mechanism and opening mechanism failed.

I was looking forward to the knife since it is a unique style, but the one I receive barely made it out of the box. Now I cannot say if I did anything wrong or not, but a couple of times of extracting the blade and the whole thing stopped. No pen, no knife, no nothing.

I need help to put it together.. and although I am a loyal customer at Blade City.... no one is giving me assistance in learning how to assemble it

Love this EDC. Knife could be a bit firmer but again if I need to ever use it, it would be a one and done scenario. I’m not John Wick but I could definitely cute rope or give someone a joker smile!!

Awsome pen knife i use at work and no one knows my pen is also a knife its solid and opens fast and not made out of plastic.

Looks like a good quality pan with a very stiff knife action for long life. It also includes the safety cap to avoid any accidental deployment of the knife. Also appreciated is the extra ink cartridge.

Slight improvement idea.... I used the plastic bag it came in to make it instantly usable but keep any dirt, dust, lint out of the knife, look close and you can see the edge of the plastic. I cut a strip of the plastic, held it over the end and screwed the open "cap" end over it then trimmed the excess off. Blade will pierce the plastic easily, but plastic will need replaced once blade is deployed, haven't tried it yet but assume plastic wrap or even aluminum foil might work too. Or you can use the solid cap and unscrew it to use the knife?

Really neat pen ️️. Writes smooth and has a nice weight to it. The knife is nice and sharp and sturdy. Pen also comes with an extra ink cartridge and extra end cap for easy access to your blade.

One of my better purchases in a while. As a tactical pen, this one has the bulk needed for handling a conflict but as a pen it is sleek and elegant. The OTF knife is solid and sturdy and ready for action. Overall, this Tactical Pen is worth every penny in my opinion.

This is the real deal! I did research on similar tactical pens and their reviews had words like cheap and plastic but this pen is all metal construction. It's heavy, you almost don't need the blade. A diagram would help but after spending a few minutes opening up the sections you can figure out out.

Love it. Writes smooth and the weight of it is great. The action is smooth. Came with an ink cartridge on it, and 2 extra(blue, and black). Nice and sharp.

I love the Viper Tec pen has a grippy trigger. I love it feels well made. I love it writes so smoothly. I also appreciate the matte coating on the blade makes it not look so much like a toy as with a competitor model I also own.

At first, the blade was jammed, but, with a little effort, l got it to work, there were absolutely,no instructions, fortunately, You Tube, had a video, from another Company, so it all worked out, with a little effort

Good knife to carry or keep at the desk. The knife works great for opening packages, mail or other small stuff. Would not try on anything to hard as it's small but does the job well. I'd say my only issue is the lock on the blade doesn't wanna stay in locked position but maybe it's just mine. And it's a twist pen which is a little wonky at times but works fine. All In all I would recommend

This pen knife is the cats ass. I'm very good at reading the future...I see myself loving and using this every day lol. On a serious note the blade came very sharp but I had to give it my personal touch. I say order one, you won't go wrong.

All & All it’s pretty kool except for the end where the blade comes out. It has 2 different tops….ones completely closed & the other has an opening so the blade can come out but it get stuck a lot. Maybe the price could be a little lower. We have different opinions but I give it a 6/10:):(

Great product, solidly built. The blade seems to be designed for letter opening, it seems like with a little sharpening you can use it for whatever you wish. I had doubts about this at first. Usually when something as cool as this passes by it’s usually a cheap crappy thing. This tho. Everything is solid. The pen. The ink. The knife. Everything. Feels good in your hand. And as a driver who needs to open boxes and usually has to use my key. This is so great to have. A great conversation piece and it’s fun to just play with the retractable blade. Would recommend 100 percent

Communication via text and e-mail was excellent! As far as the product goes, I'm very satisfied. However it might have helped if there were simple instructions on use and blade care. This is one very unique and cool AUTO pen knife. The automatic OTF works flawlessly as all my Viper-Tec OTF knifes. Gave one to my college student daughter and wife for work. The pen works great and no one is the wiser that this is a very capable knife. Ordered TWO more!

An interesting tactical pen. The "pen end" is sturdy and has a hard aluminum shell. It takes a short/mini ballpoint pen refill, twists to extend it. The blade part is at the "cap end". It has a twist mechanism to lock and unlock the OTF blade. To extend and retract the blade you use the pen clip, it pushes up to extend and pushes down to retract. A very satisfying "click" to the mechanism. The blade is not very sturdy and feels like it could bend easily. It is relatively sharp out of the box, but can use some touch up sharpening. It seems good for puncturing in a self defense use, say for targets on the neck, but no slashing, to flimsy. An interesting piece and would provide am excellent element of surprise.

GREAT PEN The pen is overall great! The blade is sharp and quick. And as for writing part, it works beautifully. One thing though, after a few uses the blade gets stuck, I recommend using WD-40 to smoothen it but overall the pen was worth every cent!

I love this pen. I got it because of the novelty of it being a pen/knife. After having it for some days now, this is definitely something I dont leave the house without. I open and close it all day long and have had no issues. It is a serious otf pen/knife. Quality craftsmanship.

Worth It It's like, why not!? Its lighting quick, in and out. Definitely not an amateur pen/knife. It may be a small blade, but a blade none the less. Listen.... If you're a blade or pen connoisseur, just spend the money.
