New 357 Defender Shotgun Slugs For Personal Defense

Tim Hamilton, the Ballistic Machinist responsible for the wildly popular Brass Pellet slugs, is back with another new shotgun round.

The YouTuber turned ammunition manufacturer is happy to introduce his latest round, the 357 Defender 12-gauge slug.

Designed for close-quarters home defense, these slugs feature a .357 Magnum hollow-point bullet housed inside an aluminum slug, which expands violently upon impact with soft tissue. Unlike solid slugs, the 357 Defender breaks apart upon impact with drywall.

The light-weight slugs provide a surprisingly low recoil despite the 1,700 fps muzzle velocity.
