Ruger’s new take-down carbine is a must-see

The new PC Carbine was the big focus at Ruger’s SHOT Show booth. The 9mm take-down accepts both Glock and Ruger SR-series pistol magazines. It measures 35″ overall with a barrel threaded for standard muzzle accessories. The trigger uses standard 10/22 components and a reversible charging handle can be swapped with ease to accommodate right or left-handed users.

An adjustable stock comes standard with the little carbine along with three spacers to adjust length of pull. The PC also features a reversible mag release and charging handle for left or right handed shooters. Its MSRP sits just below $650.

Ruger’s CEO Chris Killoy released the following statement, “Designed with shooting enthusiasts in mind, the PC Carbine’s interchangeable magazine well system allows customers to use some of the most commonly available 9mm Luger handgun magazines in their rifle.”
