Shooting the .308 Ruger Mini-14 you’ve never heard of [VIDEO]

More than 30 years ago, Ruger made a .308 prototype that never saw the light of day.

Riding on the success of the incredibly popular Mini-14, Ruger developed the XGI in .380 Winchester.

The weapon appeared onced in a SWAT magazine in 1985 with a retail price listed at $425. Sadly, little more than 100 units were ever made.

The Kentucky Gun Co. is lucky enough to have one of these unicorns in their possession.
