One of my better purchases in a while. As a tactical pen, this one has the bulk needed for handling a conflict but as a pen it is sleek and elegant. The OTF knife is solid and sturdy and ready for action. Overall, this Tactical Pen is worth every penny in my opinion.

I did research on similar tactical pens and their reviews had words like cheap and plastic but this pen is all metal construction. It's heavy, you almost don't need the blade. A diagram would help but after spending a few minutes opening up the sections you can figure out out.

I love the Viper Tec pen has a grippy trigger. I love it feels well made. I love it writes so smoothly. I also appreciate the matte coating on the blade makes it not look so much like a toy as with a competitor model I also own.

Good knife to carry or keep at the desk. The knife works great for opening packages, mail or other small stuff. Would not try on anything to hard as it's small but does the job well. I'd say my only issue is the lock on the blade doesn't wanna stay in locked position but maybe it's just mine. And it's a twist pen which is a little wonky at times but works fine. All In all I would recommend

This pen knife is the cats ass. I'm very good at reading the future...I see myself loving and using this every day lol. On a serious note the blade came very sharp but I had to give it my personal touch. I say order one, you won't go wrong.

All & All it’s pretty kool except for the end where the blade comes out. It has 2 different tops….ones completely closed & the other has an opening so the blade can come out but it get stuck a lot. Maybe the price could be a little lower. We have different opinions but I give it a 6/10:):(

Great product, solidly built. The blade seems to be designed for letter opening, it seems like with a little sharpening you can use it for whatever you wish. I had doubts about this at first. Usually when something as cool as this passes by it’s usually a cheap crappy thing. This tho. Everything is solid. The pen. The ink. The knife. Everything. Feels good in your hand. And as a driver who needs to open boxes and usually has to use my key. This is so great to have. An interesting tactical pen. The "pen end" is sturdy and has a hard aluminum shell. It takes a short/mini ballpoint pen refill, twists to extend it.
The blade part is at the "cap end". It has a twist mechanism to lock and unlock the OTF blade. To extend and retract the blade you use the pen clip, it pushes up to extend and pushes down to retract. A very satisfying "click" to the mechanism.
The blade is not very sturdy and feels like it could bend easily. It is relatively sharp out of the box, but can use some touch up sharpening.
It seems good for puncturing in a self defense use, say for targets on the neck, but no slashing, to flimsy.
An interesting piece and would provide am excellent element of surprise.

The pen is overall great! The blade is sharp and quick. And as for writing part, it works beautifully. One thing though, after a few uses the blade gets stuck, I recommend using WD-40 to smoothen it but overall the pen was worth every cent!

This pen is freaking sweet! It writes very well, considering that is not the coolest thing about it. The blade deploys very fast and is razor sharp. I have played with it over and over opening and closing and this OTF pen never gave out, never slowed down, and never once failed opening. This is a very cool item and I highly recommend it!
