Description
The Berg Blades Mini Alpha takes the distinctive design of the original Alpha and brings it into a smaller, lighter, more EDC-focused folding knife. Maintaining the signature Alpha profile and comfortable contours, the Mini Alpha trims down the overall size and weight while preserving the character of its larger counterpart.
The S90V blade features a flat grind with a 3.10-inch cutting edge. Designed primarily for front flipper deployment, the blade can also be opened with a smooth reverse flick using the fuller, giving the Mini Alpha multiple opening options.
The handle is constructed from 6AL-4V titanium with carefully contoured scales designed to sit comfortably in the hand. Strategic milling reduces unnecessary weight, bringing the knife down to just 3.17 ounces while maintaining its solid titanium construction.
The action runs on ceramic bearings with hardened washers for smooth deployment. Berg Blades also refined the pocket clip specifically for everyday carry, reducing tension and adding clearance compared with the original design for a smoother fit in standard jeans and shorts.
At 7.25 inches overall, the Mini Alpha combines S90V steel, titanium construction, multiple deployment methods, and a compact profile designed around everyday carry.
