The Kansept K9 K1151A3 is a full-size EDC folder with a Blackwash CPM S35VN modified wharncliffe blade and a Blackwash Titanium handle inlaid with 80s Camo Carbon. It was designed by Texas-based Keanison Knives (Bryan Montalvo), who first released the K9 as a frame lock in 2020 and has refined it into this version with signature handle accents.
The 3.63" blade is ground from CPM S35VN powder steel with a flat grind and a blackwash finish, giving you excellent edge retention and toughness. The angle between handle and blade keeps your knuckles clear when you bear down on hard cuts.
The sculpted handle pairs blackwash titanium with 80s Camo Carbon inlays in neon pink, blue, green and orange (each pattern is unique). An extended backspacer adds rigidity and a built-in lanyard slot.
Dual thumb studs on a ceramic bearing pivot give fast one-handed opening, and Kansept's bolster liner lock with a steel lock insert gives solid lockup. At 4.86 oz and 8.64" open, the K9 is a substantial, eye-catching EDC.
