Named for the hot North African wind, the Kizer Khamsin V3791A2 puts a bronze Sunset Metal PVD Nitro-V blade against a navy blue Sandstorm aluminum handle — a warm-on-cool pairing that is easily the boldest look in Maksim Epifantsev's design for Kizer.
The 3.09" modified drop point is flat ground for clean, low-drag slicing and carries a reinforced swedge that puts material behind the tip for harder work. Nitro-V is a nitrogen-enriched stainless running 60-61 HRC here, so it holds an edge well and shrugs off sweat and moisture better than most steels in this price range.
Sandstorm refers to the handle: CNC-milled geometric ridges across aerospace-grade aluminum that catch light like drifting dunes while doing real work as slip-resistant traction. A fuller in the blade and a dedicated thumb ramp give the hand two more points of contact, and the whole knife weighs 3.2 oz.
Dual thumb studs feed the Kizer Clutch Lock™, an ambidextrous crossbar-style lock with internal adjustment holes that let you tune spring tension to your own flick. The reversible deep carry clip finishes it. For under eighty dollars, the Khamsin delivers action and finish work usually reserved for knives twice the price.
