The Kizer Madrac V3693BSA2 is the color option in Matteo Pignatelli's lineup — a satin 14C28N sheepsfoot blade set in swirling blue and orange Vortex Pattern Micarta scales, where no two handles come out of the press looking quite the same.

The 3.05" sheepsfoot puts a straight edge and a high, flat-ground bevel exactly where most cutting actually happens, and the blunt-nosed profile makes it a natural for box work and detail cuts. Sandvik 14C28N at 58-59 HRC is the practical choice here: easy to sharpen back to hair-popping, and very hard to stain.

Norplex UltreX™ Micarta gives the handle a warm, grippier-when-wet texture that G10 can't match, and Kizer keeps the profile long — 4.42" of handle and 7.47" overall — so even large hands get a full four-finger grip. Color-matched orange aluminum thumb studs and a black lock button tie the palette together at 3.49 oz.

Opening is thumb-stud only, into the Kizer Button Liner Lock™ with its signature enlarged semi-circular button that spreads out pressure and makes one-handed closing effortless. Jimping along the spine adds thumb traction, and the reversible deep carry clip means it rides the same on either side of the pocket.
