The Kubey Icicle KB432B is a K.C. Spiron design built around a Bohler Elmax wharncliffe blade, a sandblasted titanium frame and electric blue camo carbon fiber inlays. Slim, skeletonized and unmistakable, it is the KB line at its most refined.
The 3.50" wharncliffe is flat ground from Elmax, a powdered stainless run at 60-62 HRC that balances edge retention, toughness and corrosion resistance about as well as any steel in this class. The belt satin finish gives it a clean linear sheen, and the dead-straight edge with a fine, controllable tip makes it a precision slicer for opening, scoring and detail cuts.
The handle is full titanium, sandblasted to a soft matte gray, with a large skeletonized cutout that drops weight to just 3.71 ounces and frames the electric blue camo carbon inlays underneath. Every fitting matches: titanium backspacer, titanium pivot cap, titanium hardware and titanium thumb studs, all in the same sandblast finish.
Dual thumb studs ride on caged ceramic ball bearings for a fast, smooth open, and a titanium frame lock provides a solid lockup with no play.
