The Miguron Knives Hovor brings a traditional Chinese Shilin cutter blade shape into a modern button-lock folder. The 3.3" blade is Sandvik 19C27, a fine-grained stainless that Miguron hardens to a hard 63 HRC, so it holds a slicing edge far longer than the price suggests. Two finishes are offered: a pearlescent stonewash on the lacquered red and black handles, and black PVD on the orange snowflake and black G10 versions.

The button liner lock lets you open and close the Hovor one-handed with your fingers clear of the edge, and the flat, gently curved handle fills the hand without bulk. The aluminum versions are finished with a lacquer craft or snowflake spray paint that is unlike anything else at this price; the G10 version is the quiet workhorse.
