This is something I have been getting every year for stocking stuffers for the family, mystery knives make great Christmas gifts. Occasionally you will get a knife you have gotten before but I get the six pack because it's more knives than what I need for gifts and I can give or keep the extra knives. It's a win, win!

The excitement of possibilities was quickly replaced by the reality/ reminder of the meaning of the word "random". That is, I wish the variety had been a bit better as in some of the review pictures. ( note the 2 duplicate knives). I WOULD also say my free butterfly knife got left off but I fear it may have just left out in the midst of the holiday rush. It took about 2 weeks from order placement to package delivery. We got all 6 knives in basic packaging. My husband and I absolutely love our knives, they somehow managed to get us ones that fit our personalities so well. Everyone we've showed them always responds with "wow", "whoa", and just amazement. We highly recommend getting knives from here. The blades do need to be sharpened on some, not all. Definitely going to order more!!

Just received my package today. You cant specify what you do or dont like or want thats just part of the mystery of the deal. However I was delighted to find that all the knives I received were straight edge. I hate the serrated ones and hate sharpening them even more. Out of the 6 one I doubt I will ever use as its novelty factor is beyond its blade function. This was not a surprise as you are paying basicly $60 for 6 knives so don't expect a box of Benchmade or Spyderco to show up. Two of the knives are good enough that they will join my edc rotation. The rest have an even balance of novelty while retaining decent knife function. Over all I'm happy with the selection sent and would by again. As others have stated shipping took forever. Order placed June 28 box arrived July 16th. I give it 4 stars mostly because of the super slow shipping.

Mystery Knife Box
I thought it would be cool to get six knives for $55. My mistake. They’re ALL cheap throw away knives that aren’t worth anything. I would NEVER go out of my way to buy any one of these knives. Shipping took long, arrived damage, and again, all of the knives are cheap throw always. Never making another purchase on this site again. Highly disappointed. Blade HQ from now on.

6 Pack Mystery knife
I see that most folks are happy to which I'm glad for them. Guess I wish I received what they got cause my 6 knifes were of cheap plastic -- one didnt even lock up( liner lock couldnt move over). These knifes are of the caliber you get from BUDK, but at least you are paying a third to a fourth of what blade city charges. Many moons ago they sent out really decent stuff, now low quality junk. Not to mention it took 10 DAYS to get my knifes even though I live about 2 HOURS north of Miami. Just stick to the individual stuff and NOT the mystery stuff.

I like it they aren't really good knives most of them are plastic but I can't really complain since it's only 54.95 and this was my first purchase here was hoping to get a Viper-tec OTF or it doesnt really have to be Viper-tec but honestly I'll definitely would buy again!

The issue I have is my orders usually have 5-8 different blades and it is very difficult for me to distinguish what blades are parts of the SURPRISE pack because I don't know how to navigate the packing slips very well. I'm very satisfied with the blades, it's just difficult to know what came as the free knife and what came in the SURPRISE pack. Again, I LOVE the blades.......
