Product Description

The Remette RT-Meteor packs a Böhler M390 drop point blade into a compact titanium and carbon fiber handle, with a button-plus-liner lock and three different ways to open it. Remette's design team styled it after a meteor streaking across the night sky: a swept, aggressive blade up front and a handle that flares out like the burning tail behind it.

The 2.99" blade is flat ground from 0.13" M390 stock and hardened to 60-62 HRC, so it takes a fine edge and keeps it far longer than ordinary stainless. Remette finishes every blade by hand with its pearlescent fine-grinding surface and drawn-wire flats, which gives the steel a soft, luminous sheen instead of a plain satin.

The handle pairs an anodized or coated titanium front bolster with a contoured carbon fiber inlay, and the four versions are told apart by that combination: green camo carbon on green titanium, black marbled carbon on sandblasted titanium, copper carbon on bronze titanium, and silver carbon on black titanium. Open it with the front flipper tab, the titanium thumb stud, or by pressing the button and letting the blade fall on its caged ceramic ball bearings.
