The Thermic Tactical Ambient 2026A is the cleanest expression of the Ambient line: a long, slim drop point blade paired with a G10 handle milled with a row of angled slots that cut weight and give the scales a modern, skeletonized look. It is a light, fast everyday folder built for the pocket, not the display case.
Designed by TASKnives for Poikilo Blade's Thermic Tactical line, it runs a 3.7" blade of Böhler M390 stainless, hardened to 60-62 HRC, so the edge holds up to daily use and shrugs off rust. The blade stock is 0.130" thick, the knife measures 8.4" open with a 4.7" handle, and it locks up on a liner lock. Weight is about 4.7oz.
The blade carries a tall flat grind with a crisp swedge toward the tip, and the tumbled wash finish hides the scuffs an EDC blade picks up over years of use. A dedicated flipper tab drops the blade onto a liner lock with a snap, and the lock bar is easy to reach without crossing the edge path on the way closed.
Handle scales are available in Arctic Grey, Black and Neon Green G10, or a two-tone Carbon Fiber / G10 layup, each over steel liners with matching hardware. A deep-carry Thermic Tactical pocket clip keeps the knife low and tight in the pocket.
Every Ambient ships in Thermic Tactical's magnetic-close presentation box with a snap-flap nylon carry pouch. Each color comes with either a stonewashed or a blackwashed blade, shown in the photos for that color. Pick your color below.
