The Thermic Tactical Ambient 2026E is the compact, no-nonsense Ambient. The drop point blade is opened through an oblong thumb slot cut into the blade, with a small flipper tab as a backup, and it locks up on a liner lock behind textured G10 scales that fill the hand despite the knife's short footprint.
Designed by TASKnives for Poikilo Blade's Thermic Tactical line, it runs a 3.7" blade of Böhler M390 stainless, hardened to 60-62 HRC, so the edge holds up to daily use and shrugs off rust. The blade stock is 0.160" thick, the knife measures 8.5" open with a 4.8" handle, and it locks up on a liner lock. Weight is about 5.7oz.
The blade is ground thin behind the edge with a tall flat grind, and the washed finish on the blade, liners and clip keeps the whole package looking uniform and wear-resistant. Jimping on the spine gives the thumb a sure landing for detail work.
Choose Arctic Grey, Black or Navy Blue G10, or the two-tone Carbon Fiber / G10 layup. A deep-carry Thermic Tactical pocket clip and lanyard hole round it out.
Ships in Thermic Tactical's magnetic-close presentation box with a snap-flap nylon carry pouch. Each color comes with either a stonewashed or a blackwashed blade, shown in the photos for that color. Pick your color below.
