The Vanguard Knives Integral Breaker is a true one-piece titanium integral: the entire handle is machined from a single billet with no liners, no scales, and no screws holding it together, just a clean, seamless frame that flexes to lock the blade. This example runs a super mirror polished Vanax blade in a gray flame-textured titanium integral, with a Timascus pocket clip included so you can dress it up or keep it stealth.
The 3.5″ drop-point blade is ground from Bohler Vanax SuperClean, a nitrogen-alloyed powder steel with near-total corrosion resistance and excellent edge retention, and brought to a true super-mirror polish that shows off the steel like glass. At 0.154″ thick it has plenty of backbone, and the drop-point profile gives a strong tip with useful belly for everyday cutting.
Deployment is by flipper on bearings for a smooth, confident action, and lockup is the integral titanium frame lock, where a section of the one-piece handle itself locks behind the tang. The handle carries right-hand, tip-up on the standard titanium clip, and the additional Timascus clip ships in the box for a shifting blue, purple, and gold accent that no two knives share. Despite the full-size 8″ overall length, the integral build keeps it to 5.15 oz.
Numbered #1 of the gray flame run, this Integral Breaker pairs a flame-textured titanium body and blue-anodized pivot collar with a mirror Vanax blade and a Timascus clip in the box: a one-of-one presentation piece that still earns its keep as an EDC.
