Modified Nerf gun “Glass Smasher” — Is it legal?

If you’re a fan of DIY life hacks, you’re probably familiar with the nearly useless fact that a smashed spark plug can be used to shatter car windows with very little force. (It’s useless since you need a hammer to smash the spark plug, and if you’ve got a hammer you don’t really need a spark plug to break a window!)

This trick has been featured on countless viral videos, but TWANGnBANG took things up a notch by creating the “Glass Smasher” from a Nerf gun.

The idea is simple enough, bust open a spark plug, glue the pointy bits ceramic to a nerf dart, and voila.

This thing is surprisingly effective, but is it legal?
