Walther Creed is a solid pistol offering a few pleasant surprises

Hickok45 gives us a closer look at the new Walther Creed that made its public debut at SHOT Show earlier this year.

He’s pleasantly surprised with the Creed’s trigger, but does note that the bore axis is a bit higher than he would like. The Creed also features an orante grip texture, but Hickok notes it’s still a little to slippery for him.

Walther’s new pistol is hammer fired with a “pre-cocked” trigger action that feels like a striker fire. “I could live with this trigger on all my other pistols,” says Hickok.

With an MSRP around $400, the Creed has only a few shortcomings that are easily outweighed by its solid design.
